Oscar-winning producer Irwin Winkler (Rocky) takes the director's seat for this drama about three American soldiers who encounter some tough challenges as they adjust to life after performing a tour of duty in Iraq. Will (Samuel L. Jackson) is a doctor who attempts to return to his practice; Vanessa (Jessica Biel) learns to live with one hand while raising her child alone; and Tommy (Brian Presley) mourns the loss of his best friend in combat.
My comments:
I absolutely loved this movie. It was very to the point, shows the darker side of being at war. It also shows how going to war not only affects the soldier, thier body & thier mind, but thier family, friends, everything in thier life! My 9 year old son watched it & asked alot of questions about war & about what happens. It showed the things alot of people don't know about or understand. Very good movie, I would watch it again!
