MOVIE REVIEW: Cujo

Cujo
5/5

Here's what www.netflix.com says:

Cujo1983R95 minutes
Based on horrormeister Stephen King's best-selling novel, Cujo chronicles a tale of man's best friend turned satanic killer. Slobbery St. Bernard Cujo is much loved by owners Donna Trenton (Dee Wallace) and her son, Tad (Danny Pintauro), but when a rabid bat bites Cujo, he morphs from happy pup into crazed canine. In the nail-biting climax, Donna and Tad barricade themselves in their car, with 200-pound Cujo skulking nearby. …
Cast:
Dee Wallace, Danny Pintauro, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Christopher Stone, Ed Lauter
Genre:
Creature Features, Dramas Based on Contemporary Literature, Dramas Based on the Book, Horror
My thoughts:

Great, great horror movie! First off, who wouldn't be afraid of a giant dog, foaming at the mouth & trying to attack you?? Immediate horror!! On top of all that, the woman is trapped with her small child, who is panicky. Every mother knows, every good mother would so go one on one with that dog for their child's health or life. Really enjoyed this & the ending totally made me not only jump, but scream!

MOVIE REVIEW: Under the Tuscan Sun

Under the Tuscan Sun
3/5

Here's what www.netflix.com says:
2003 PG-13 113 minutes
After divorcing her cheating husband, Frances Mayes tries to overcome her depression and writer's block by taking a vacation to Tuscany. Charmed by the location, she impulsively decides to buy a villa there.

My thoughts:
Not a bad movie, a little slow moving for me. Some parts I didn't get why they were going on, seemed like a good movie, just drawn out.

Purex Crystals for Baby ~ Review & Giveaway!!

I was chosen by Purex Insiders, to try out a new product for baby laundry. It's a byproduct of Purex Crystals, specially for your little one. I do not have little ones who live in my home, however, I do in home day care. I am always washing things of a little one, such as napping blankets, extra clothes, spaghetti spills on a new shirt. I do take pride in my work and like to make sure these things are taken care of so the parents don't have to. I also recommend products I like to the parents of my day care kids.

I first used the Purex Crystals for Baby on a load of blankets used for nap time. The label calls for enough crystals to fill the cap to the line. You simply add the crystals at the beginning of your wash load, then wash regularly. When your laundry comes out of the washer, it smells absolutely amazing! The kids even noticed the wonderful smell. I even waited a week, before smelling the blankets and you could still smell the scent of Purex Crystals for Baby.

My second load, I decided to wash my delicates. Bras, panties, camisoles. They came out smelling super good, such a baby inspired frangrance. Even a week later, when I went to pull out my good bra for church, I found they still smelled so fresh and like a baby.

Some of the facts about Purex:

Hypoallergenic
Dye Free
Natural Formula (87% Natural)
Safe for all clothes (including Children's sleepwear)
Freshness lasts weeks, not days!
Developed with babies' gentle skin in mind

Handy Tip #1

Ok, everyone I know has issues with atleast one pair of jeans that have a zipper that falls down at the most inappropriate times. All you need to fix this is a key chain hook that's a little larger than the button on the jeans. Just slip it through the hook on the zipper, zip your jeans and hook it over the button before fastening your pants. It is a tried and true tip! It's made my favorite jeans my favorite jeans again!

PRODUCT REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Dry Idea Advanced Dry Fresh brand

Imagine my surprise when I received a package from PUREX INSIDERS containing the Dry Idea Advanced Dry in the Fresh brand. I was thrilled to try another of their products! I began using my bottle of Dry Idea Advanced Dry women's deodorant. I loved the roll-on deodorant, it's the easiest way to put on deodorant! I always loved the even, cool flow on my skin. It's always been reliable, doesn't break apart like traditional stick deodorant. The Dry Idea Advanced Dry Fresh brand smells so clean and fresh! It reminds me of fresh shower or clean laundry. I could see and feel that it was not only there, but it made me feel better about wearing it. It didn't leave any wetness or residue on me or my clothes either. I wore the Dry Idea Advanced Dry Fresh brand for about 3 1/2 weeks before I decided to write this blog and I wasn't really sure how to word it all. I did however, know I had to share that this deodorant was a wonderful idea for a woman like me. I don't like to be too girly, I like to smell good, but I want my deodorant to smell clean and fresh, not all flowery or baby powdery! Dry Idea Advanced Dry has some pretty spectacular ideas too! First, Dry Idea offers 72 hour protection, so if I put it on at night before bed and my morning is hectic and I forget to roll some on, I can feel safe in knowing I'm still protected. Next, Dry Idea has Advanced Wetness Protection. It's going to keep you dry all day! As soon as you roll some on, it begins preparing to protect you for up to those 72 hours. Third, the Dry Idea Advanced Dry line also offers other lines such as; Unscented, Powder Fresh and Regular in the roll-on version. They also offer Clear Gel in Unscented and Powder Fresh. Finally, Dry Idea Advanced brand is hypoallergenic and extra effective. If you're interested in learning more about Dry Idea Advanced Dry, you can check them out on facebook at DRY IDEA ADVANCED DRY. Now on to the contest!! Dry Idea Advanced Dry and Purex Insider's gave me the opportunity to not only try their Fresh brand myself, but to give 5 of my reader's the chance to try the Dry Idea Advanced Dry product of their choice!

MOVIE REVIEW: House at the End of the Street

The House at the End of the Street: 5/5 Here's what www.netflix.com says: 2012 PG-13 101 minutes Moving to a new town proves even more stressful for a teenage girl when she learns that the house next door was the site of a double murder. But after making friends with the victims' son, she realizes there may be more to the story. Cast:Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot, Elisabeth Shue, Gil Bellows, Nolan Gerard Funk, Eva Link, Allie MacDonald, Jordan Hayes, Krista Bridges, James Thomas My thoughts: I started off as a fan of Jennifer Lawrence when she played heroine Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games. This movie cemented to me that is an incredible actress! She really showed that she can not only play a terrified girl, but she can be terrified at any age. This movie was alot of suspense and really good plot twists. The ending was unexpected, I was shocked at what really happened. Would watch this again!!

20 Mule Team Borax Review & GIVEAWAY!!

Imagine my surprise when the Purex Insiders sent me the 20 Mule Team Borax kit. What an awesome idea for getting and keeping my laundry in the best shape. LAUNRY BOOSTER: 20 Mule Team Borax is a great alternative to chlorine bleach. It's also perfect for softening hard water. It doesn't attach to calcium and magnesium granules like regular detergent does in hard water. It keeps stains from ending up back on the clothing. WHERE CAN I GET IT? : I have recently seen this at both Family Dollar and Kroger. I'm sure other stores carry it too :) LAUNDRY TIPS: If you have a washer that can fill up and then add clothes: I recommend, like with all powder detergents, adding the detergent and the Borax together and allow it to agitate for a few moments before adding your clothes. The instructions call for 1/2 cup per load. I'd recommend a little more with dirtier clothing or large loads. MY EXPERIENCE: I actually am not a big fan of powder detergents or stain removers. I think they leave specs on clothing. The Borax didn't seem to do that though. I liked the look and feel of the clothing after using the Borax. Borax is easy to use and really seemed to do what it said it did. I may not buy it often and I may not use it in every load, but it's definitely a product I am open to using again! And for the CONTEST: PUREX INSIDERS and 20 Mule Team Borax have been generous enough to allow me to review this product, by providing me with a box of the 20 Mule Team Borax. In the package, they also included 3 coupons for a free box of 20 Mule Team Borax. All I want you to do is comment on this post and tell me why you want to try 20 Mule Team Borax. Giveaway ends on March 7th, 2013.
