20 Mule Team Borax Review & GIVEAWAY!!

Imagine my surprise when the Purex Insiders sent me the 20 Mule Team Borax kit. What an awesome idea for getting and keeping my laundry in the best shape. LAUNRY BOOSTER: 20 Mule Team Borax is a great alternative to chlorine bleach. It's also perfect for softening hard water. It doesn't attach to calcium and magnesium granules like regular detergent does in hard water. It keeps stains from ending up back on the clothing. WHERE CAN I GET IT? : I have recently seen this at both Family Dollar and Kroger. I'm sure other stores carry it too :) LAUNDRY TIPS: If you have a washer that can fill up and then add clothes: I recommend, like with all powder detergents, adding the detergent and the Borax together and allow it to agitate for a few moments before adding your clothes. The instructions call for 1/2 cup per load. I'd recommend a little more with dirtier clothing or large loads. MY EXPERIENCE: I actually am not a big fan of powder detergents or stain removers. I think they leave specs on clothing. The Borax didn't seem to do that though. I liked the look and feel of the clothing after using the Borax. Borax is easy to use and really seemed to do what it said it did. I may not buy it often and I may not use it in every load, but it's definitely a product I am open to using again!
