CVS Deals I've gotten.... Weeks of 1/18 & 1/25

Combining store coupons with manufacturers coupons plus using Extra Bucks I got from another deal, I paid a grand total of:

 

$ .04

 

Yes, FOUR CENTS!!!! Here's my proof receipt (sorry it's a bit blurred):

 

In addition to only spending $.04, I also got an Extra Bucks reward for $2 for a future order (see below for what I used it for!!).

 

 

Okay, on to the week of 1/25:

Here's what I got:

After using store and manufacturers coupons with a 20% card bonus coupon, a previous Extra Bucks credit along with the $2 credit from above, I paid a grand total of:

Darla Enlow directs this gritty, low-budget horror flick that stars Scott Gaffen, Carmen Garrison, Justin Boyd, Laurel Williamson, Heather Surdukan, Celeste Cash and Christopher Rowe.

 

My thoughts:

 

You can tell this is low budget & you can tell it was really cheesy writing too. The plot line, a creep who stalks and kills people in the remote lake area, who steals buttons from their clothes?? Too cheesy for me!!

I used the Arm & Hammer baking soda to create a delicious holiday treat:

 

First I created the dough, using the Arm & Hammer baking soda:

 

 

 

Then I rolled the dough into balls, added a delicious chocolate treat to the top and then served:

 

The treats turned out delicious :)

 

 

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda is a must have now!! Not only does it help bake delicious cookies, it also has so many other uses!!

Here's the Arm & Hammer baking soda fun project from my booklet:

 

PLAY CLAY:

 

Supplies:

 

2 cups Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

1 cup corn starch

1 1/4 cups water

food coloring (optional)

 

Directions:

1. Stir together baking soda & corn starch in a saucepan.

 

2. Add water & food coloring (if desired) and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.

When mixture reaches consistency of moist mashed potatoes (approx. 10-15 minutes), remove mixture to a plate and cover with a damp cloth.

 

3. When clay is cool to touch, pat until smooth. Make fun shapes :)

 

4. Air dry clay shapes overnight on a wire rack (8 hours to overnight), or pre-heat oven to lowest setting, then turn off. Bake shapes 10-15 minutes in off oven.

 

5. Decorate shapes with paint, marker, glitter or any other objects you wish! Protect with clear nail polish or clear acrylic spray paint.

 

 

Do not freeze clay!

 

Store for up to 1 week in tightly sealed container or baggie for up to 1 week.

My review:

 

What a sad, inspiring story!! I really felt like the boy in the movie was encouraging the thought of living life, no matter the obstacle that gets thrown our way. What a great story, although I do recommend having a box of tissues because it's a major tear jerker!!

My thoughts:

 This detergent isn't much different than my regular Purex, however, it's the perfect detergent for a housefull of teenagers who do their own laundry! Which, we so happen to be! My kids have been taught to do laundry, yet we don't always sort it. They can easily use this and not have to worry!

For the first test, I put Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar in the upstairs bathroom:

 

 

I think it looks great next to my other soaps & lotions! On to the scent, which smells amazing!! I'm not sure what makes it smell so good, I don't think it smells anything like raspberry or sugar. What I think it smells like is more of a citrusy scent, but still smells amazing!! It's hands down my favorite, without smelling the lime one!

 

For the second trial, I went with the kitchen sink area:

 

 

The scent for this one is again, amazing! It seriously smells like blue Kool-aid!

 

The kitchen area though, is where I was planning to test how moisturizing the soaps are. With food preparation, you need to wash your hands often, which means they usually get dried out and crack. Well, with this smell good, moisturizing potion, this did no happen to me!! Yah!!
