Ron Howard directed the crime thriller, which is based on The Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown's novel and co-stars Ewan McGregor and Stellan Skarsgård.

My thoughts:
Pretty good movie, it had alot of interesting facts & theorys. Plot twists & turns made it even better! I would have rated it a 5/5 if I had understood everything it talked about. But since I am not Catholic, I did not really get thier rules or thier practices & thier way of doing things.

The two houses square off in the long-banned competition known as the Games. Eugene Levy returns as Mr. Levenstein and Meghan Heffern co-stars as Erik's new love, a nice girl who isn't down with the fraternity high jinks.

We did watch the unrated version which showed alot of sex & naked boobs. However, the movie was hilarious!! I've always liked the American Pie antics & humor. Funny things always happened. My favorite part was the lap dance by the sheep, if you haven't seen it, you need to watch to understand!! Funny movie!!

My thoughts:
My younger brother who is 26 & likes some crazy things actually recommended this movie. Now, I was a bit unsure because his idea of a good movie is usually a zombie movie. But, I figured we'd give this movie a try. And, we LOVED it!! It was such a sweet movie with such a powerful message. Two old men who were well past thier prime actually gave hope & truth to a young boy who only knew lie after lie. What a great message :) The movie actually made me cry a few times.

The movie was supposed to be similar to Jackass, but in the first 5 minutes, I had seen some guys penis atleast 5 times. Who wants to see that? We turned this movie off within 10 minutes because it was so dumb!

Snowstorm Memories.......
I was sitting around today remembering how snow storms used to be. I remember there was ALOT more snow on the ground before we missed school. Last year, my kids missed 2 weeks of school because of about a foot or 2 of snow. Now when I was a kid, we missed 2 weeks of snow, but it was because it was a BLIZZARD!! We had about 5 FEET of snow!! We were literally snowed in!! It was so bad that I remember my grandmother & 2 of my aunts had to come stay with us for a few days because when it all melted, the area they lived in was flooded.
We didn't just have bad memories from that blizzard, we had alot of good ones too. We had snowball fights with all our friends. When we first got our steps & a path to my grandparents across the street, we had piled all the snow in front of our garage & our yard & we were able to jump right off to the sidewalk. We'd sink in a bit, then slide off to the street & make our way back up to do it again. It was so much fun!!
Next we'd decide to drag our plastic sleds up the hill to the wall almost to the top. Then we'd pair up or take turns sliding down. Some of the braver ones (mainly my little brothers & thier dare devil friends) would actually start at the top of the hill & sled down off the wall for a much crazier ride. One time some kid even rode his sled down the steps, that ended up with him flipping & going home crying.
When we tired of this, we'd talk about building a snowman. We'd even start actually building one, but our end product NEVER looked like a snowman. We'd just be too darn wore out to complete one. And it didn't help that no one's parents would part with the things we needed to build one. So we'd end up walking around the neighborhood to check out all the snow & anything out of the ordinary. Sometimes the guys would go off snow shoveling, but that was if they could get a shovel from anyone's parents.
After all the exhausting fun, we'd say goodbye to our friends & trudge home. We'd strip out of out soaking wet clothes, toss aside our drenched coats & leave a trail of hats, gloves and scarves for my mom. After everyone was showered & into warm clothing, we'd curl up on the living room floor with out blankets & pillows. My mom would make us hot chocolate & some type of chips or nachos with dip or cheese. We'd watch a rented scary movie & be thankful the next day was already CANCELLED!!

Why don't adults understand?
Remember when you were a kid & some adult, whether it would be a relative, friend or aquaintence who just got a big kick out of torturing you. They hugged you too tight, gave you a kiss that was too wet or just play aggravated you. Well, while I am not sure why people feel that because it's a child they can just plain torture them until they are upset or crying, but I sure do know it's ridiculous! Why do you want to upset a child to that level? Why do you think that because you're bigger & stronger you can do what you want? The little boy I babysit, my godson, has uncles who do that. They call him a girl, call him by a girl's name, when he was little he was teased while changing his diaper, so much so that he hated having his diaper changed in front of anyone. He's only 3, gonna be 4 soon, but he has a mean streak. One night he punched his uncle square in the nose. How can you yell at him when said uncle was holding him tight like a baby calling him by a girl's name? And he REPEATEDLY told him to stop!! It's irritating! Kids just want to be treated like people too! Do not force a child to do something they don't want. I have a nephew who hates being kissed. I have come to an agreement with him, if he lets me hug him, I won't kiss on him. I still get to be affectionate & he's more comfortable with it :) Enjoy them while thier young, make thier memories of you special & happy ones :) Remember, kids are people too!!

Racing to get the big kids!!
Usually I watch my little 3 1/2 year old godson from the time he gets off the bus at 1:15-1:30 til his mom finishes work at 4. Today was no different, except my brother & his girlfriend & thier three children came over for a little bit. When it was time to go get the bigger kids, I took my godson & my nephew who is also 3. The moment we walked out the door my nephew wanted to go get my daughter, who attends the middle school & doesn't get out for an extra 20 minutes. We began our walk through the alley, where my godson swore there was an alligator following us! They raced ahead to escape from that alligator. When we got to the school, we got my son & headed back. This time, they were in a race to get back home. So cute!! I love that age!! Learning so much & being able to express themselves so new things are a wonder to them! They are so funny & use expressions differently. I adore it!!

First off, it tests just what you will do if someone ever holds your child. It also shows the ultimate betrayal a husband or wife can commit & what could happen if thier spouse found out. Completely something awesome I could do if my husband cheated!! Her husband even had the nerve to lie to her, when he simply could have confessed & apologized. Great movie!! Kept me on the edge of my seat & I had no clue what was going to happen next!
