MOVIE REVIEW: Masters of Horror: John Landis: Family

Masters of Horror: John Landis: Family ~ 4/5

Here's what www.netflix.com says:
Masters of Horror: John Landis: Family(2007) NR

Don't mind Harold Thompson (George Wendt), the mild-mannered bachelor in this idyllic suburban neighborhood -- he's just a serial killer. And he has his sights set on his hot new neighbor Celia (Meredith Monroe). But when he invites her to be a part of his "family," the suburbs get messy. Horror ace John Landis, working in the same satirical vein as David Lynch's Blue Velvet, helms this darkly comic shocker of twisted suburbia.

Our thoughts:

Good plot, the man who plays Harold aka Norm from Cheers, was spectacular! He played a real creep & his torture was something I looked forward to! His "family" creeped me out majorly! Overall, a pretty good flick & the ending was a nice twist! Reminds me of Tales from the Crypt, minus the Cryptkeeper.
