MOVIE REVIEW: We Bought A Zoo

We Bought a Zoo
4/5

Here's what NETFLIX says:

2011 PG 126 minutes
In this adaptation of Benjamin Mee's memoir about buying and saving a run-down zoo, the locale shifts from Britain to southern California. However, the wacky spirit of the original is retained, complete with escaped tigers and a zoo crew of misfits.
Cast:
Cameron Crowe, Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, Colin Ford, Elle Fanning, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, John Michael Higgins, Angus Macfadyen, Peter Riegert, Stephanie Szostak, J.B. Smoove

My thoughts:

A real heart warming, tear jerker. The family is dealing with the loss of the mother, the kids are not adjusting well to their father's single parenting. He's looking for a place to move since his son has been kicked out of school. |Finding a nice, peaceful zoo, he decides to bring his family there. When they arrive, he finds the zoo in need of alot of repair to reopen and against his brother's wishes, he uses the insurance money he's received to do just that. A very cute movie, very heart warming, A must watch for those who love animals.
